Walking in Antarctica is an immersive, interdisciplinary exhibition bringing together photography, sculpture, and audio narrative to take the viewer on a journey through an extraordinary environment of remote places that the tourist ships do not reach and few people get to witness in person.

Past Exhibitions
Dia de los Muertos altars are an important tradition celebrated by Mexican people throughout the world. Altars created by Morningside University students, Irving Elementary School families, Unity In Action, and friends of the Museum are on display.
Discover Sioux City’s pivotal role in telecommunications history—from launching one of Iowa’s first telephone exchanges in 1880 to becoming a regional hub for over a century. Historic photos, iconic telephone designs, and original equipment bring this story to life.
Shutter and Sound: The Jazz Photography of Bob Willoughby will feature the dynamic jazz scene of the 1950s, a time—in the words of Dave Brubeck—“of youth, exuberance, hope, and change.”
