Join curator Matt Anderson for an exhibit tour of Gypsy Soul: Remembering Sioux City's Tommy Bolin. The tour will be approximately 45 minutes with time after for questions.
Author and journalist Rebecca Clarren will discuss her book, “The Cost of Free Land,” which melds investigative reporting with personal family history to reveal the intertwined stories of her family and the Lakota.
Learn about Central High’s first black athlete, Leland Washington, and other standouts with a short film by Jim Tillman, followed by a panel and discussion emceed by Ike Rayford. Co-sponsored by the NAACP of Sioux City as part of Black History Month.
