Sioux City Public Museum hosts Day of the Dead celebration

(KTIV) - Siouxlanders came together to honor and remember deceased loved ones Saturday Oct. 26, celebrating the lives of the departed through rich traditions at the Sioux City Public Museum’s Dia de los Muertos event.

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a holiday with origins in Mexico which sees family and friends gathering to remember and honor loved ones who have died. Instead of mourning, families celebrate through traditional customs.
