Join us on Thursday, July 17 at 12:05pm for History at High Noon: Jazz in Sioux City. This event is free to attend!

Sioux City had a vibrant jazz music scene from the late 1910s through the 1960s. Jazz in Sioux City, presented by Sioux City Public Museum’s Curator of History, Matt Anderson, will feature photographs of the places where jazz music was played and some of the key artists who lived in the Sioux City area or who came to town to entertain. This program correlates with the current exhibit Shutter and Sound: The Jazz Photography of Bob Willoughby.

Attendees are invited to bring their lunch to enjoy during this free presentation.
