Join us for a free, drop-in family fun morning on Saturday, October 11 from 10–11 a.m.!
This free, drop-in program includes a story time and a hands-on activity where children can learn about and help build a traditional ofrenda (Day of the Dead altar). Visitors will also have the opportunity to create papel picado, a symbolic, decorative banner for Day of the Dead, that will be used in the exhibit space.
Perfect for preschoolers and early elementary kids (but everyone’s welcome!), this playful hour is packed with hands-on activity stations, crafts to make and take, and a fun gallery activity.
Grown-ups and kids learn and explore together—no need to register, just stop by!
