Facility Rentals

Have your next meeting or conference in downtown Sioux City at the Museum! The Sioux City Public Museum offers a variety of room rental options.

Call 712-279-6174 or email scpm@sioux-city.org with inquiries or to reserve your date.

Classroom usage will be free for non-profit groups as space allows at the discretion of the Director during Museum open hours. Rates for other groups vary for regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or after hours (5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.).

Rooms Available

Single Classroom capacity based on configurations:

  • Up to 25 people in U shaped conference table format
  • 30-40 people in small group format
  • 40 people in lecture format

Rates: $20/hr, $60/4hr period during regular business hours only.

Double Classroom (partition open) capcity based on configurations:

  • 120 people in lecture format
  • 40-90 people in small group format

Rates: $30/hr, $100/4hr period.
After-hours rates: $40/hr with 2 hour minimum; $125/hour with access to exhibits.

Conference Room capacity:

  • 12 people in conference table format

Rates: $20/hr, $60/4hr period

Amenities included with all rooms:

  • White board
  • Wireless internet
  • Screen
  • Round tables (seat 7)
  • 8 foot rectangle tables (seat 8)
  • Children's tables & chairs (seat 6)

Optional Amenities:

  • Use of Kitchen $20/hour
  • Projector $10/use
  • TV/VCR/DVD $10/use
  • Sound System $10/use
  • Flat Screen TV $10/use

Catering: Flexible catering options are available. Caterer must be approved by the Museum. Food and beverages are not allowed into the permanent gallery space.
