Researchers
may come to the Pearl Street Research Center during open
hours to find information about Sioux City and the
region. The staff will then find materials for the
researchers to use in the Reading Room. No materials will
leave the Pearl Street Research Center.
Researchers may
also contact the Research Center by phone, letter or by an
e-mail message. Please fill out the
Archives Request Form
(.pdf). A quick search for answers to research questions is
free of charge but if the search goes beyond 30 minutes, the
staff will charge the researcher. The charge is $15.00 an
hour.
Materials may
be photocopied at 25 cents a copy. Microfilm copies are 25
cents a copy. Photographs may be reprinted starting at $10
for an 8 X 10 reprint (see
Photographic Fees.)Researchers must fill out the
Photographic
Reprint Order Form
(.pdf) below in order to get reprints.
Other services
include scanning materials; producing a digital photograph;
producing transparencies/slides; making blueprint copies and
color photocopies. There is also a postage and handling fee.
